want to supercharge my 97 c230. any idea where i can buy a complete settup or about how much its going to run? i have a regular 2.3 engine now.

Cheaper and eaiser to sell your's and use those monies plus what you'd spend trying to convert yours to buy one that came that way from the factory.

Agreed. Prices on w202 230k's have dropped so much that you might as well buy something that was purpose-built.

If you are determined to do an upgrade yourself, a lot of w202 modders say to go with a turbo instead.
