2001 E430 Exhaust

I have noticed my exhaust is a little white lately. The car has 85k miles and is about 2k late for the A service. Could that be the problem, or am I looking at something potentially major?

does it continue to smoke after its warmed up ?

white smoke usually is antifreeze burning .. check your reservoir to see if it is completely full

also could be oil.. some folks tend to mistake white smoke for what is actually whitish-blue smoke .. oil burning

also could be tranny fluid from a vacuum line caused by faulty modulator

id first get your oil changed .. and keep a very close eye on your coolant level
