You mentioned live wire contact due to disintegration insulation of the coil harness. The engine wiring harness on those vehicles was a big problem and generally cant be repaired because once you start to move the wires around the insulation falls off and comes apart in places you cant even see. You may consider replacing the harness its not a terribly big job.

Thanks. I've already repaired the harness but it took much time, patience & perseverance. But I did it with new quality wires, soldering iron, quality pvc tape, pvc flexible conduit, heatshrink with internal adhesive & new MB connectors etc.

With the spark plug or Ignition Wire Set, yes confirm ********az do ship internationally. But for the US$70+, the shipping around US$90. Then they dont guarantee issues with custom or tax or add. shipping fees. On ebay they ship between US$25-$35.

There is one who invoice me via paypal for US$90, a Beru wire set. Was told beru is better than Bosch? But I enquire to them is unanswered. I need to confirm it has 4 wire set not one & that it suits my vehicle.

Any more links to that wire set suppier that ship here, will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately Mercedesshop dont ship here.

rmt,

Good work with your harness repair!

For your Ignition Wire Set, ******** is US71.98 for part plus US$28.00 Shipping = US$99.98 (about AU$116.00).

The parts are shipped out of USA, therefore attract NO USA taxes.

There are NO Australian import duties or taxes into Australia on parts that attract such small amounts of duty that is uneconomical for Customs to collect. So you can import perhaps $500-1000(?) value before having to pay such costs.

If you can find the correct part from a reliable seller on Ebay or elsewhere for a cheaper price, then of course, buy that one!

Go to ******** and register yourself:
http://www.***************/

Then:

1. Select your car Make and Year (Mercedes 1994)
2. Select your model (C220)
3. Select Ignition Parts
4. Select Spark Plug Wire Set (this is the part for YOUR car 202 150 0019 $71.98)
5. Select Quantity 1 and "Add to Cart"
6. Select "Proceed to Shipping Options"
7. Select "UPS Worldwide Expedited ($77.10)" or Global Express Mail ($28.00)
8. Confirm Order and Pay.

The part will arrive in 7-10 days.

PS. You can also order a bunch of other parts at the same time, and the combined shipping cost will not change much ($28-33) for the order until you reach about $200 (or you order something very large or heavy).
