'97E420 ASR warning light
My '97E420 ASR warning light comes on at idle and then the engine revs... any suggestions? Can I continue to drive it?

I suggest you use the search function "ASR warning". If you do not find your issue has been answered in those threads, Bump this thread = it sends me notice to follow up with you. Have a great day.

Today is my first day on this site, so I'm in the dark as to previous threads and responses... thanks for your advice, I'll see what I can find. First, I have to figure out how to search...

Response: Hi... I'm back with new developments... no more ASR light, now the idle is wacky (that's German btw) and at stop, in traffic, my car surges like it has a pulse... hmmm, never had this kind of an experience before... |
