W124 Floor heat problem

While driving the wife's '87 300TD home from the annual holiday trip to the big city I noticed I had cold feet. Upon inspection I discovered there was no heat coming from the floor registers. Plenty coming out of the dash ones though.

Any thoughts, insights?
