Hello.. I am wondering how difficult it would be to replace the front brake pads on a 92 500SL//

how involved is it??
do i have to replace the sensor along with the pad ?? or just the pad??

thanks guys..

If I'm not misinterpreting your user name and you are indeed a BMW Tech. then you should have no trouble with the brake pad replacment, easy. Always replace the sensors. Check rotor thickness while you are there.

Knock out 2 pins, disconnect 2 sensor wires, push the pistons back into their bores, pull the old pads, and you're ready to put the wheel back on. If the rotors are in good shape, it's a 5 minute job per side once the wheel's off.
