Blower Motor 86 300e
I'm looking for some help trying to isolate why my 86 300e has a non-functioning blower motor. After the car is well warmed up it is possible to feel some heat but there is no blower. It doesn't seem to make a difference what setting the fan dial is on. I am not sure if the control unit is not functioning to trigger the fan to come on or if there is actually a problem with the blower motor. Any help would be great.

common causes:
1) strip fuse 2) bad blower regulator 3) bad blower motor (and regulator sometimes too) there is a 3 wire plug on the firewall behind the brake booster- eliminate a fault with your acc by checking for voltage there first. if that is ok, access the blower regulator, located on top of the motor and ground the blue wire, if it runs, the regulator is toast.
