starter switch

I have a 1998 300E wagon.
Any input on the starter switch?
The lock-out feature has locked me out.

Are you suggesting you can't turn the KEY?

I can't turn the key.

I have 2 keys. Key # 1 (usually in my pocket) gives me nothing when inserted. Key # 2 (usually in the drawer) gives me a click when inserted as is engages the EIS module.
Niether key will lock the doors.
