It is possible to change my metal sunroof to a glass panel one? I know this can be done on W140 S Class cars. How about W202’s.

YES, it IS possible and I did it with my sunroof as well, but I would not recommend it unless you can get your hands on a complete moon roof system from a salvage yard. I had my complete car torn apart and I changed the complete sliding mechanism for the one with the moon roof and changed the liner with additional panel to close the glass roof as well.
