Question Folding door mirror

Hello,
This is entry here in the forum as I am a new user, so greetings to everibody.
The problem in my 12/1998 ML320 (European model/ assembled in USA), is one of the power folding side mirrors, passenger side doesn't unfold anymore just moves about 1" to the open position and to the closed position(it's closed now), I noticed before this happen that this mirror was getting slower movement, I've read somethings about this issue like wires, motor lub, but even to lub the motor I need to know how to disassemble the mirror without damaging the car.
Can somebody help me on this? Does anyone have some scquematics drawings?
Thanks.
Sorry if my English is not very clear!

Best Regards,
Kiro29

Once you get the decorative cover off, it should be pretty easy to see the problem.

If there's nothing to see, it probably needs a new motor.
