Hi All,
My car (85 190E 2.3, 118K) didn't start for a while today - it would crank up fine, but didn't start for nearly 15 minutes. After every try, I tried to wait for some time before cranking again. After about 10 tries, it started to start, then died. this happened another about 5 times. Then it finally started, ran rough for a while, then absolutely smooth. No more starting problems. I have NEVER had ANY starting problems with this car for the 10 years I have owned it. Is it something I should get checked out, or just ignore? BTW, the car has new plugs, wires, rotor/cap, injectors, air/fuel filters, OVP relay. thanks a ton, Rags. |
Could be fuel pump and/or fuel pump relay. Have the pump pressure checked if it happens again.
