I have a 91 500SL. What does the manuel say about the front wheel bearing preload or ?

I haven't read the manual about this in twenty years, but I remember a clearance of less than 0.001 in. In other words NO preload on front wheel bearings. They are tighter than loose but not preloaded (bg).
