weird mod?
 

I have a friend who's totaled a 1997 W202 C36. Nothing mechanical is broken.
I was thinking about taking his 722.6 5speed auto and fit it to mine? My car is a 1994 W124 E220 (M111 engine). Would it fit?
I know that late W202 C200s (same engine as my E220, but less 200cc) has that gearbox so I was wondering what I need to put it onto my car.. TCU for sure.. Actually, has anyone done this mod?

Is there any other thing I could/should get from the W202 C36?

I'm guessing that the trans controller would stay in limp home without traction control and engine management data coming to it over the non existant powertrain CAN.

Do I even have to say it? The engine! I guess you might have to pay more taxes on the displacement.

What about the interior/steering wheel.
