diy ac service
i have never seen eny one check the oil when their serviceing ac so my ? is how do you know when to add oil. thanks in advance Bobco

Simple...
The AC system is a closed system, and dos not "use" oil like an engine.
So, you only add oil when the system has been purged and flushed, or when it's being converted to another refrigerant.
