Thank You for upgrading this site.

Thanks for the upgrade Benzmac and company.
This new layout is very nice!!:D

We're going to check into the PayPal idea...been too busy lately upgrading our server!

Thanks for the upgrade

The upgrade is working so much faster for me now. I think previously the traffic was routed through China and back. When I log on using my home connection it will be fine. I can actually read all the new posts during lunch now! Thanks!

Site upgrade

The upgrade is certainly much quicker thank you but unfortunately I am unable to get the full width of the forum details within my screen. Is this a feature of the new system or is it my inability to control my PC ?
I hasten to add that I have strictly limited skills in that respect & I apologise if its simply brain fade on my part.

My 19" monitor see the same. Just hold your mouse button down and slide it against the right hand side border. This scroll to the right easily
(windows)
Not a big problem with me.
Cheers

What resolution are you guys running at? 800x600? if so you shoudl think about going to 1024x768 if your eyes can take it..

I use 1024x768 all the time. I'd use 1280x1024, but its just too small on the text for me. I would also use 1152x864, but I prefer 1024x768. I used 1152 on my 17" monitor, but on my 19, I like 1024 better.

I never have to scroll to the right or left, only up and down.

And I don't even have my browser window maximized. I have it at just a bit bigger than 800x600 in size.

Scrolling?

You should not have to scroll at all! The page widths are set to 100%. Normally I have my resolution set to 1024x768 but, I just reset it to 800x600 and to 640x480 and neither setting required any scrolling. The pages simply compressed to fit the screen.

I am using Internet Explorer ver 5.5. What browser are you guys using? Maybe there is a problem with a certain browser.

tigerfox 08-02-2001 04:23 PM

Webmaster.
I am set at 800x600 & have to scroll.I am on Internet Explorer4. It is only applicable to the Diesel Forum, the others are OK. Thanks for your help.

This new server is very nice indeed! I have gained another 18.2 minutes per day to work on the old gal (300E) due to the faster server.

Thanks!

My 19" ia at 1024 X 768. The last category on the right hand side only half appears
on the screen without scrolling sideways.
Netscape 4.75 browser.
Not a hassle for me.
Could be because I have set my browser
to display larger print.
