W210 Starter R&R
 

I just got the word that my starter has gone over to the dark side in my '98 E430. So, I'm going to need to remove and replace it. Now, I'm an old Audi guy, and I know plenty about those, but little about my new MB.

So, my questions are these:

1. Do I need any special tools (MB-specific, or something I can't get locally) to R&R my starter?
2. Are there technical diagrams for this project that I won't have to mortgage my home to gain access to?
3. Or is this just a straight-forward R&R deal that pretty much any comepentent wrenchman can do?
