Trunk will not close
 

I'm 18 years old and just got my first car. It was given to me by my aunt who just retired to florida.

I removed my battery and then unlocked my trunk with the key, to store the battery until I was ready to get a new one. Only to find out I can't close the trunk since the battery was removed and since putting in a new battery thinking that was my problem for the closing the trunk I still can't close it. Help:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Model 300E 1986 only 115,000 miles.

You should be able to lock the trunk manually, by using the key.
