Where to verify if recall items were done?
 

I have a 2003 CL600 that I purchased two months ago.

I discovered online that there were a few recall items on this car.

How and where can I go to verify if these recall items were accomplished?

Another question....if someone responds to this thread does this generate
an automatic email to me?

Call your local dealer with the vin#, they can tell you if the recalls have ben done. You will get email if you have it set up that way in you user cp.

Go to the nearest MB dealer and request an VMI on your Vin Number. Take the registration with you to prove ownership. The Parts person should be able to do this for you. Parts guy at Valencia MB in Valencia CA did it for me on a 24 year old car. Mine was clean, no recalls and NO warranty work. Parts guy told me I had a good one. He also verified the mileage for my first High Mileage award.
