Fuse #2 Hot all the time 1990 560 sel
My battery goes dead every 2days or so.
Ive read all the battery draining posts and from what I can tell my #2 fuse should not be hot all time. Is this correct? When testing for a draw with the neg battery cable disconnected I get.01 to .03 (tester connected to neg battery post and neg battery cable). Im not that knowledgable about electrical so any help would be great. Is there a relay that should keep this fuse dead until the key is in the on position? |
You get .01 to .03 WHAT? If that is amps it is 10 to 30 miliamps which is nothing.
According to my schematic fuse #2 is hot all the time. |
That fuse probably powers the radio memory and dash clock...and dome lights...etc...supposed to be hot when the car is off. You might have a failing battery....or a trunk light thats on when the trunk is closed....or the stereo could be sapping too much juice if its failing or something.
