2002 Cl500

Since I stopped using the integrated phone on my '02 CL the clock no longer automatically resets for daylight savings time...Any suggestions? I have the nav system and following the instructions in the owner's manual has not been successful. Thanks...Doc

Didn't the date change when we "spring ahead"? I'm not sure.

When I get to work tomorrow morning, I expect to be inundated with questions like your's. I don't think the phone has anything to do with it, though.

Twice a year (spring ahead, fall back), it's the same thing! For the last few years my clients ask, "Why didn't my clock change?" The answer is simple. Your COMAND system is programmed to German time standards. I know what you're thinking, the NAVI system determines the correct time, right? That's what I always thought. I guess not. I'm told that some MB's make the change automatically and some don't.

I'm betting that if you wait a few weeks (or whenever Germany "springs ahead"), your clock will re-set itself, or, you can scroll through the endless menu in your COMAND system and change it now.

Thanks for the input, now if I could just get...

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm sure you know better than I, but it is weird that it always changed automatically until I disconnected the phone. Maybe it's because we keep changing the time that daylight savings time begins and ends. I will wait, but temporarily I changed the time setting from PST to MST and picked up the hour. Now, if I could just figure out how to get the tire pressure indicators to display that would be great. My CL has every option available (parktronic, distronic, nav, AMG, you name it) and I understand that tire pressure monitors are supposed to be included (per the owner's manual), but I can't seem to get to it. Thanks again...Doc

Take a look at the valve stems on your wheels. If they're made of gray metal, and are bolted on, the car has TPC. If they're regular old rubber valve stems it doesn't.

Thanks again, that may be the problem. I have the AMG chrome wheels with chrome-sleeved stems (covering plain rubber I'm sure) so that feature is no doubt unavailable to me. You've been a great help...Many thanks!
