Locked trunk 1990 300 CE
 

My trunk locked itself and I cannot get in. I have a 1990 300 CE-24 Mercedes. The actuators seem to work (you can hear them if you use either the door lock or the trunk lock). The trunk lock button presses in with some resistance, but not the normal resistance you get when the lock disengages. So the trunk stays locked (with my computer and other things locked inside). Is there any way I can unlock the trunk? Can I access from the rear seat? Do I have to drill out the lock -- would that expose the lock itself and enable me to disengage the mechanism?
