Alldata (for my '97) specifies tool 140 589 24 63 00, or equivalent. I would imagine this would apply to your '95 as well.

I was just wondering if a small 2 jaw puller would count as equivalent.... My WIS gave the same tool number...

I bought a tie rod puller from a store called princess auto, and modified it with a die grinder. The things just popped off. changing the ball joints seems to have taken care of the creaking sounds. I went and ran the car around the rough roads at a resort here, and there wasn't a single creak. The job wasn't too bad as it only took me like 2 hours, and I was helping a friend do some work on his car intermittently.

Thanks for the thread, I have s320 1995 as well, after reading this I got the Harbor Freight Tools Ball Point Joint Separator to remove the ball joint.

http://www.harborfreight.com/3-4-quarter-inch-forged-ball-point-joint-separator-99849.html

3/4" Forged Ball Point Joint Separator - Item # 99849

For $14.99, Sears has a similar item for much more. You will only need the separator, hammer, floor jack, stands and the usual tools for nuts etc, patience and be safe like the others said.

i have a simiiar noise.over bumps at low speed or anytime the suspension shifts,my noise is coming from the left rear, ive decided that its iether a noisy shock absorber bushing,or one of the stabilizer bar bushings, its a very annoying noise,if you can get the car on a lift keep pulling up and down till you locate it it may be a lower control arm bushing, when yu find the noise loosen up the bolt holding the part or busahing, then spray in allot of quality spray silicone, the one that has teflon mixed in with it,im sure its not a saftey danger, more or less just an annoying noise.goodluck, also allot of moisture can caue this,so if you sprayed the undercarriage it may be why.my noise comes when i spray the u nder rear carriage.
