Oil blowby 1997 c230

I am experiencing a problem whereby the oil is spitting up through the air intake and its creating a mess on top of the engine and the throttle body. My real concern beside the mess is that it may contaminate the maf sensor.
I suspect that this could be caused by a bad pcv valve but I can't seem to locate it on this car nor is their a part listed for it. Does anyone know if this car has one and if so where is it located, and how can I buy a replacement for it if it does.
Thanks

If there is a hose connected to the airintake, follow it to the engine.
I believe this engine has an oilseperator mounted on/in the valvecover.

What is the function of the oil seperator, does it get clogged up and is it replaceable. I don't see any parts listed.

On my previous car ( C 230 K ), there was an oilseperator mounted on the valvecover.
This is to prevent excessive amount of pressure build-up / venting the crankcase.
Basically the same function as a PCV valve.
Did you look for a breatherhose connected to the valvecover ?

Yes i see the hose from the top of the valve cover to the air intake. Thats where alot of crud is coming from. I remember having the valve cover off last year and it looked like there was kind of a baffle underneath. Is that what the oil seperator is. If so are you saying that this may be plugged up?

Wouldn't hurt to have a look, maybe clean it out.
Unless your engine has a lot of blowby.
Another idea ( got my " Thinking Cap " on, would be to install a filter in that breatherhose, to trap excessive oilvapours.

There is quite a bit. Maybe the rings are shot. Car seems to run fine and it never had an issue passing inspection. I can't help but feel that somewhere along the way something is plugged up.

I did an online search and came across someone that put an inline oil/air separator in a tiburon that was experiencing a similar problem. I may give it a try. Its basically one of the type you would find on an air compresser.
