Headlamp Cover (210-820-0212)
The dealer recommended a bodyshop - Autometrics in Michigan.
Below each headlamp there is a plastic part called Headlamp Cover (part number shown in the subject area). The parts I have now on the car have dents. In talking to Autometrics they offered two option: 1.buy new unpainted covers from dealer ($13 each), then for $38 each they will prepared them with adhesive promoter and painted with MB standard black. 2. sand the covers on the car, then adhesive promoter and finally painted with the same MB standard black for $68 each. I am looking for advise from all of you: should I use the parts I have or should I go for new ones? (the parts a rather small 4 to 7 square inches) Should I buy a MB spry can and do the job myself? Thanks.
