Has anybody else been using that pipes thingy clothmoth put up for us? I lost track of that thread.

If it works and it matches your car, it's great. Some people get strange information out of it that doesn't come close, though, and some people get no information. I just went through the MB Classic Center. It's free, and it's always accurate.

It says my car has interior: "Leather saffron or java"? I always thought my interior was Palomino.

Much to dark to be Palomino.

The RU site worked well for my euro spec car, but the classic center lookup barfed when I tried to decode there. I wonder why... :D

Any idea what color it is? I think you are right...I looked in my dad's C240, and the tan is much lighter...I'm assuming his has Palomino. I've heard about a color called "Saddle"?

the 487 hydropneumatic spring suspension all around (с 01.11.1978 по 31.08.1986) was quite interesting... no springs! and a multi-position height adjustment knob next to the headlight switch.

That's one thing that I was wondering about when I checked my car's vin. It came up saying it was equipped on all four corners, but has no hydro suspension at all!
I haven't crawled under the rear end to look for remains of an uninstalled system yet, but who knows...

Is it just me or do you have green LED's in the lamps at the bottom of the doors? It sure looks like it.... :confused:

My car is Palomino, its a very light color, like a very light beige. Yours looks like the "in between" color between my car and my dads. (His is "tobacco" or something like that, quite dark, but not brown.)

That .ru site came up with my interior color as "mushroom". echh!
