Have you done the basics?
1. check fuses
2. check for power at fuses
3. check for power at seat switches
4. test the seat switch itself
5. clean contacts inside the seat switch

depending on what you have laying around, i have used a small(very small) 12 volt battery to test seat motors before. I just used aligator clips connected to the battery and then touched the other ends to the disconected seat plug. i only did it for a second though as there are no fuses to protect a short etc.
