W140 ASD option
Does anybody know why Mercedes only offered the ASD-automatic locking differential,option, only for the 300sd/s350d in the w140 body style?,those are rare cars,why it was not needed/available on all w140 models?

Only available on the 1992-95 300SD (S350D) in the USA.
The gas cars use ASR traction system instead. |
