Passenger side door light switch

How can I access the wiring for the dome light switch on the passenger side door. It is a 1990 300SEL. I bought the car used and found the wiring over heated and burned for this switch. The wires are broke and I need to replace them. Thanks.

Remove A-pillar molding, sunvisors, then header panel, then lower cover panel in front of door opening.

Should get you enough room to fish the wires through.
