1986 300E rear window won't roll up
 

My 1986 300e drivers side rear window won't roll up. The center console switches don't work on either of the back windows, but the door switches do roll them down. At one time, I could open the door 1/2 way, and this would let it roll up, now it's stuck in the down position. Does this sound like a short in the wiring or something else?

Check the wires between the door and the car frame...
 

Common place for the wires to get damaged....
