Torque values

My Haynes manual does not list torque spec for mounting bolts on vacuum pump. Car is a 1982 300TD.
Thanks.

NOTE: Any torque values listed in Haynes manual should be questioned. The number listed for oil pan bolts is waaaay high.

Most techs don't use a torque wrench on small bolts. The torque wrench needed would have to be in in/lbs and would be very cumbersome to use in close environments. We use 'feel' for any accessory bolts.

The critical bolts to torque are head bolts, crankshaft mains and rods.
