2005 E55 screeching noise
 

Help!!! Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. I took this car in for howling-screeching noise on start up that lasted for 15 seconds. The dealer checked all fluids and finally decided to replace the oil pump. The noise still remains and at 900 rpm it is constant. They are referring to MB techs for assistance. It really sounds terrible. Thanks for any and all assistance.

Well, give them a chance to diagnose/correct the problem. ;)

There are issues with the super charger clutches making noises on those cars.

Thanks MB Doc for the suggestion. They have had my car for 7 days and don't know what else to do except wait for MB techs to arrive. At least I have a direction for them to look into. Thanks again!

I talked to the dealer and they said they took off all belts and problem still exists. That's why they replaced the oil pump. They have sent report to MB and are waiting for a reply. Any other suggestions? Thanks1
