300se p/s pump leaks
help,would like to know if resealing p/s pump on my 89 300se is not too
hard and how to do it,thanks for any help on nthis |
Not too hard. Do a search and you'll find plenty of info. Seems like I posted a step-by-step a while back.

Simple as can be! Figure $3-7 for the reseal kit. $5 for some brake clean. $3 for a new filter $10 for some new return hose, and $6 for a few fresh quarts. Maybe a few hours of your time.
More often than not, the reservoir o ring leaks to the main body. That's a few small bolts below the filter. Behind the pulley there are four 13mm bolts, pull them you'll find the other orings. |
