K&N air filters
 

There is a thread about K&N air filters in the diesel section... however, no real answers.

Do you folks in the tech field have any input as to whether the K&N air filters are a good thing or not in the diesel engines?

Do a search on this topic. It has been discussed a number of times. Diesel/Gasoline I don't there there's a real difference.
Just put one in my 1995 C280 and I have been impressed!

Others can get more technical for you I'm sure.
