107 Shocks and Spring length?
I am trying to gather the correct information on parts to replace the shocks on a 1985 SL500 (Euro 107) with a full AMG appearance package. It looks lowered but how can you tell?
What is the correct procedure to check the spring lengths? I need to be sure that if it bottoms out that it does so on the springs, not the shock body. Any suggestions? (I have the 107 CD). MB says they have no info as AMG did the modifications. Steve |
