SRS Warning
I have a 97 C230 sedan & decided to replace all the seats from a 99 C230 sport sedan, all the wires hooked up fine except a wire for the passeger's side seat which has a different type plug for the 99 passenger's seat I assume this has something to do with the SRS due to the fact my warning light is on. The original passenge's seat has only 2 pin plug the later year has 3 pins. I took the harness but have no clue which wire to tap in & what the "extra" wire is for. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Your original seat had: "passenger seat occupied recognition sensor". The new one has: "Passenger seat occupied recognition with automatic child seat recognition (ACSR)". Different animals.
You will either have to swap the sensors in the seats or the system won't work properly. It any case you will need a scanner to reset the light.

SRS Warning
Thank You for the quick response, I still have the old passenger seat and will try to swap the sensor this coming week. I have an Actron CP9135 scanner not sure if this can reset the SRS. The replacement seats are really nice two tone leather (not MB tex) got a really good price on them ($400) Again Thank You for your help.
