Gas smell gone just b4 FP Relay died
 

Last month I had asked the question about the gas smell I would have everytime I started the 89 420, and I got some good answers to my post. We realized after the Fuel Pump Relay died last week, the gas smell had been gone for several days at startup.

Could the dead FPR been malfuncting before it died and creating the fuel to over do and cause the gas smell?
