2000 C280 A/C oil

Hi,

Does anyone have the data on how much oil (new compressor) and refrigerant the A/C system takes in a 2000 model C280? Your help is appreciated.

Best,

Greg

OF course that decision isn't "cut & dry" easy!

First did you flush the system? How much oil came out of the old compressor?
How much oil was in the new compressor? Did you replace the drier or other a/c system lines? Was the complete system flushed with the correct a/c flush?
Was there any other problem with the a/c "fluid" system? Was there any leaks?
How much oil was recovered during the R134a recovery?

drier is obviously replaced. System will not be flushed as the compressor did not die a bad death (valve got stuck inside). I do not find any original fill amounts of PAG anywhere.

Thanks,

Greg
