103 engine serial number location

Where should the serial number be on the 103 engine in my 91 300TE?

Unless you need to verify that you have the original engine, the easiest way to get the motor number is from the data card associated with your VIN. Post your VIN.

The number could be below the alternator, right above the pan.

The engine's serial number is stamped onto the engine block, on the intake side of the block, towards the front (cyl 1).
