Hot air coming from my defroster vents even when blower is off.

The only way to stop it would be to open the front vents but then hot air comes from them? Any ideas what is happening and how to stop it? 1993 190e

Prob has a stuck Duo Valve. Give it a tap to confirm. Default position is open .(hot)

Not sure your car but mine is next to the battery, follow the heater hose from the engine, it will connect to a small recirculation pump by the wheel well and then to the valve in question.
