1997 e320 stalled whilst driving

Hello, i'm a new member and would like some assistance.

Whilst driving my 1997 e320 avantgarde, I travelled a short distance and the car stalled for no apparent reason, and would not start again.

Had the AA out and he said he thought it was a relay to the engine management or the crankshaft sensor. Can anyone enlighten me on where this relay will be located as there are several places with various relays.

Your help would be much appreciated.
