560 SEL Alignment
I went to SEARS to have a front aligment done on my 560 SEL. I was told that the aligment could not be performed because the "Toe Adjusting Sleeve was frozen". What should I do in this case. Does anyone know a good Mercedes repair shop in the Columbia, Marylande area?

I recommend you replace the whole tie rod assembly. The assembly includes the inner and outer tie rod ends and the sleave. The cost is about $70 per side. A tech (or you) should be able to replace both asssemblies in less than 15 minutes.

Try Euro Motorcars in Bethesda. I have heard good things about them. Or, if you don't mind a drive, try McGeorge Mercedes in Richmond, VA, about 1 hour south. McGeorge just did a 4-wheel alignment on my S420 ($125 US) and they did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
