Valve cover baffles
Can anyone tell me what the purpose of the baffles in the valve cover on the m104 engine is? How would the engine be affected without them? How about performance? Thanks.

Probably to reduce oil vapor in the crankcase vent airflow.

Thanks Forced, I was thinking along those lines but was wondering if leaving them out would change anything. I will probably reassemble the valve covers with those back in place tho, can't mess with good German engineering.
