Ive used it several times .I know it works because My truck was barely able to pass without it and with it passed by a wide margin ,There was onother brand that I used also that I cant find anymore that seemed to convert the octane to 110 [ I know it actually didnt but am only using that to say how the performance increased]

gas line antifreeze is mostly alcohol

If your test results show too many ppm hydrocarbons, then dry gas will lower the parts per million,, test with one gallon of gas and one half gallon dry gas as it has no hydrocarbons, so no unburned ones exit the exhaust. except the ones in the gas...BUT you really should find and resolve the problem.

70% isopropanol = 70/30 isopropanol/water. I wouldn't be adding water to my tank. Dry gas (ethanol) is a better choice I think.

I asked the tester to go over the numbers with me and tell me if I was marginal on anything. He said the car was well within the required perameters, so I'd have to say that stuff didn't hurt anything. I can't say for sure that it helped either, but it sure didn't hurt!

Now, if somebody just made a chemical that would correct things that won't pass the safety inspection, I'd be golden . . . .

Oh yeah, I also had a voodoo priest do a little dance around the car as I was waiting in line. Can't say whether THAT helped, either, but it didn't HURT!

It's possible he may have freaked out the tester. I don't know.
