differential/driveshaft question

1991 190E 2.6, rear wheel drive
How can I get this to work... I need to be able to spin the driveshaft by spinning one of the rear wheels.
I know I've done this before, but now, when I spin a rear wheel, the driveshaft doesn't move. Spinning the driveshaft spins the wheels, but that's opposite of what I need to do. Any ideas?
Thanks!

You need to leave one wheel touching the ground.
