check eng. on a 190E 1991
 

I was adding freeon to my wifes 190E I removed a four prong plug from part of the air intake now I have the check eng. light, how do I shut it off thanks JNT:)

Should be a LED & pushbutton on the diagnostic connector.

Depress the button & count to 3, count the number & then depress the button for 8 seconds to erase that code.

Thank you Doc, we just got this one from my brother in law he bought it new only has 76000 on it, oh by the way has any one come up with a way around the lack of potentiometer availability yet? this one stalls at restarts when warmed, I have to keep it turning over and as it lights off step into the fuel to keep it going, perfect at cold start. well thanks again JNT
