Somethin's-a-flappin'

I have an '03 CLK 500, which I just got new tires for. For some reason, once I start driving over 40 mph I hear a flapping noise. I know this isn't normal. Any idea what it could be?

If this issue started after the tire change then it could be a loose panel. Did you get an alignment too? Did somebody touch more than just the tires?

It started before the tire change, and I thought it would go away after, but it didn't. All I did was change the tires... could it need an alignment?

It may need an alignment but that shouldnt have anything to do with your flapping noise.

Look for paper or plastic hung up beneath the car or for loose belly pans or wheel well liners.
