1990 420 SEL Stalling in Cold Start
Before I get flamed- Yes I did check previous threads mine is different.
When I start the car up I have to wait a good 15 minutes before I can put the car into gear and take off. If I try and do it before this time it will sputter and stall when I try and give it gas. It also will do this in damp weather. After car is warm, runs good. O2 sensor is good, mixture has just been adjusted as she was running alittle lean (unlike her owner) new ignition cap, rotor, plugs-n-wires. Any and all help appreciated guys and thanks in advance.

Possibly an issue with fuel mixture. When cold the computer really richens up the mixture.
Have the cylinder heads ever been off for valves & guides? Possibly lifter height is incorrect & causing low combustion pressure when cold.

I've got the car here now.
After mixture adjustment its definitly *better* but still not right. It was 70-80% but now oscillating right around 50%. It's not just when it is cold, the car still has problems even after it gets hot. Once the pedal is pressed past a certain point the car bogs down and will take longer to accellerate. Any suggestions on what else to check for would be appreciated.

Have you evaluated the eHA current? Does it have appropriate cold enrichment current. It should get 50-70ma cranking and then around 20 after starting quickly dropping to just a few ma within 30 sec.
Does it idle good warm in closed loop? Restricted injectors would effect cold running idle but would also make it rough in closed loop. With all that right you need to evaluate differential pressure to get a handle on the distributor fuel control. Also be very sure the airflow plate is centered both radially and veritically.
