Please Help! Transmisson

my transmission on my SL is a 722.3 and it has started leaking. After going under it is not the pan gasket but rather the "BRAKE BAND B1 THRUST ELEMENT" I guess thats the one with the huge bolt and black line coming from it. After looking at Diagrams it seems the two o-rings are leaking. Can somebody give me a good step by step replacement of the o-rings? I would really appreciate it I just don't want to break something.

Welcome to the forum, I too am a fairly new member and have found this forum to be an excellent source of information. I recently rebuilt my transmission and am still trying to resolve some issues so don't take my advise as 'expert'.
What you are referring to with the large hex is probably the overload protection switch. If you remove it you then have access to the B1 pressure body (and thrust pin) that has the 2 o-rings on it. The nomenclature I am using is from one of the transmission service manual that I found online, and may not be the same as in the EPC or WIS. This is the link:
