Angry 1990 420sel, fuel distributor leaking

I rebuilt the intake system last year,I replaced all the rubber parts and seals, but did not replace any thing in the fuel distributor, now I find that the plenum chamber is wet can any one ID the trouble? Do I need to put an oring kit in the fuel distribution block?

The o-ring on the plunger may be available, and these do tend to fail occasionally.

Whatever you do, never separate the halves of the fuel distributor. There are no gaskets or o-rings between the halves; it is a metal-on-metal seal which you will not be able to reestablish.

the plunger in the center of the distribution valve leaking, I thought as much, do you recommend just the o-ring or the entire valve? after eighteen years would it be wise or pound foolish
