My Transmission shifts hard from 1st to 2nd. In slow traffic it clunks in and out of second gear when you mash the gas. Otherwise it's fine.

Has the fluid ever been changed?
722.6 trans are no longer classified as "filled for life". They are to be changed once at 39k miles. Most folks here would continue to change periodically thereafter as well. |
Of course in stop & go traffic selecting "W" will help with that problem.
Trans fluid changes can prolong the life of the trans two-fold! |
